It has been illegal to dock dogs tails since April 2007. All Boxers will now have lovely long waggy tails and very proud of them they are.
Anyone docking dogs tails now is breaking the law.
All our pups have their dew claws removed at 3 days.
We have joined the Kennel Club Accredited Breeder Scheme but we do more for our puppies than is required by the scheme. Check out our puppy pack page and our contract page.
We strongly believe that all dogs that are bred from are tested for genetic problems and that only the health dogs are bred from. All dogs should live a health life not just be pretty and the right shape!
We
believe that the Kennel Club's Accredited Breeder Scheme should insist
that breeders that belonging to this scheme test their dogs for genetic
problems.
When looking for a puppy make sure that you ask if the parents are tested for all genetic problems and ask to see the certificates.
We are members of the British
Boxer Club, London and Home Counties Boxer Club, the Anglian Boxer Club
and the Essex and Eastern Counties Boxer Club.
Jayne
is on the committee of the London and Home Counties Boxer Club and
co-ordinates the rallies that run once a month in Crayford in Kent for
the London and Home Counties Boxer Club. Contact us for
information or see the London and Home
Counties Boxer Club website or Facebook page for information.
WE ARE WHITE BOXER FRIENDLY - ALL OUR WHITE BOXERS WILL BE REGISTERED WITH THE KENNEL CLUB AS WE BELIEVE THEY ARE JUST AS IMPORTANT AS THEIR COLOURED SIBLINGS.

blood test under health and then CM. See the
Abythorn boxers Website for recent information about Cardiomyopathy in
Boxers. We had great fun at the Essex and Eastern Counties Boxer Club
rally/match. Newt won 3 rosettes, best head, best front end
and then won his puppy class. He did very well and was not at
all phased by the other big dogs. It was a great experience
and we both learnt a lot. Newt has started his show training and seems to like it. We have joined the Essex and Eastern Counties Boxer Club and have our first match this Sunday 21st September. We
have also entered him in the London and Home Counties Boxer Club show
on the 18th October. Pickle and Newt have had a good summer on the beach on the south coast with their mum and auntie meg! They loved the sea, even if it was a bit cold and enjoyed chasing meg along the shore line in the waves. Max came to see us for the day with his new owners and enjoyed the beach as well. We are now back to start some
serious training with both and some show training with newt.
We will let you know how we get on. All
the pups are growing well and are all still very happy in their new
homes. Magic has now changed his name to Buster and Jack has changed
his name to A.J. We have had some photos of Jack, Frodo (aka Snowy) and Molly and Juno. They look like they are having fun in their new homes. Frodo comes to
see us twice a week and we also see Magic to play with. Jack
went to his new home today (26/6/08). Photo of him with his
new owner shortly on his page. Max has gone
to his new home today (24/6/08). There will be a photo of him
shortly with his new family. Pups
have all had their second vaccination today (23/6/08) and second vet
check. All are doing great. After 1 - 2 weeks all the
puppies are really settled in their new homes and are having a great
time. We have heard from Sky today
(15/6/08) and she has settled in really well and is very happy in her
new home with her new boxer friend. Sky went to her new home today (13/6/08) see her page for photo of her going home. We have heard from all the puppies and they are all having a great time in their new homes. They have all settled in very well and are all really calm little pups, just like their mummy. Juno and Magic went to their new homes today (8/6/08) see their pages for photos of them going home. Molly
and Snowy
went to their new homes today (7/6/08) see their pages for photos of
them going home. Puppies have all had their first vaccination today (6/6/08), heart, eyes and general check by a vet. Puppies have all been Micro chipped today. (31/5/08) Thanks go to Diane Hannam of Dibrid Boxers who came all the way from Yorkshire to Chip the puppies. VideosHoming one of our PuppiesOur Puppies are very important to us and we want to make sure that they go to good, loving and permanent homes. You will be asked lots of questions about your family and your day to day life to make sure that you are suitable for a Boxer Puppy. A Boxer is not
a guard dog and cannot live outside - they like human company and
warmth. Please don't think of giving a puppy as a gift - They require love and dedication and plenty of time. Please don't think that it will cure a troubled home life or relationship - it wont and everybody will be unhappy including the puppy. Make sure that everybody in your family is ready for the huge commitment of a puppy. Remember - ALL puppies will: chew and mouth, pee and poop, dig holes, jump up - that’s what puppies do! - if you are not prepared for this, then give a home to an adult dog that needs a home.
